Camp

On the 13th of November my class went to camp. On the way there I got bored on the but Arlo was there with me so he could tell me jokes we then we listened to some music. When we got to camp I met my other cabin mates witch were Jack, Ethan, Ashton, Ashton, Tomas, Nico and Arlo. After that we all went outside to get into groups for activities. After our activities we had lunch. Then we had some tropical fruit juice. After that we had free time I got out my soft toy and then everyone else got out their soft toys too so we all played with them all of the free time. after that we had dinner and went to search for little squirrels in the bushes and that's all I remember THE END.

In the holidays me and my father went to Hamilton to see the eye specialist.  First we had to walk there and registed at the front. Then we had to wait in the waiting room for half an hour. Then finally the man that was going to help us came when we got into his office he sat down and started talking to us and after a while  I got bored and mum said "Its nearly finished and gave me a book  to read. Once I finished reading the book we had to go back.

Last Wednesday our class had to sit our desks and wait a long time till the other rooms came in . room 5 came in first and nobody came. when room 2 came in Jude came to our kite and asked how did you build it?were you in the finals? how did you know that design would work?Me and 

Connor said we saw a teenager flying a kite and decided that the diamond shape would

 work better and finally we said yes we got into the semi finals and into the finals too!

 

Our inquiry

At school probably one month ago me and my buddy Connor made a kite for our inquiry. First we made a diamond shape but it kept on folding in half so we added two news paper rods to the kite then we realized that we put them across  and not upwards so we ended up having to make a new one.The new one looked like a fish and we added one other layer to it but it kept on ripping so we again had to build an other kite and this this time it worked because we added news paper rods around the outside and an other layer  to stop it from ripping when we had to test it with the class. We got into the finals I said  ''that was amazing we are in the semi finals Connor!'' and we were int the next round. But on the second to last round  we were out ''but we were so close to winning'' said Connor and we cheered on Summer P and Rosie but  room 5 won the kite champions ships and we were dissapointed.

Six days ago me and my family went to Kaikoura  and we stayed there for three days. We stayed at one of the to ten holiday parks.On the last day we went into the spa and I did not know was there!When we hopped in it hurt a lot because it was too hot but we eventually got used to it and when we got out I felt dreamy and light and did not like it when we left.

Easter Monday

Today  my dad and I went to the beach to play cricket. I started off as batsman but dad hit the wicket so I changed to bowler. We played for half an hour. When it was time to go home I had ten and dad had nine. When we got home we played Trek the aim of the game is to get to camp 12 the first player that gets there is the winner but you will need stores, mules, jeeps, camp cards and money. this time dad won again and I congratulated him 

Easter Sunday

Today Sylvie and my family went to the Mapua Easter fair. We played on the mechanical planes first then we had lunch. Then we played on the go karts but there were no brakes so when the car in front of us stopped we crashed into them and stopped suddenly  so the go kart behind us crashed into us and that made Sylvie bump her head on the back of our go kart with no pillows. We got out and my mum and dad took care of her and me. Then we had a colossal waffle mine had strawberries, blueberries with cream them we had to go home. When we got home we said bye to Sylvie. When she was gone we had dinner then we went to bed.

Easter Weekend

Last Friday Elijah and Sylvie came over to my house for a play date we had an Easter hunt I ate all my eggs. After the Easter hunt we played cricket. I won the game seven out of five. Then it was time to go home. We dropped of Elijah at his house and drove back home. When we got there we asked Sylvie if she would like a sleep-over she said yes but she'll have to ask her mum and dad first. When she got back she said they said yes but she'll need help carrying her stuff to my house. So I helped her carry her stuff to my house. Then she set up her stuff on my bunk bed. Then we played for two hours then it was time to go to bed. We said good night then fell asleep. when morning came we brushed our teeth then we had breakfast . After breakfast we played some more cricket and this time Sylvie won. We played in my room for a bit then it was time for Sylvie to go home. Before she left she asked my mum and dad if I could come over and play and they said yes but only for ten minutes we said ok and we played soccer then I had to go home I said bye then left.

My name is Brandon in the holidays I went to Celeste's birthday.When I got there she was already opening her presents so I put down mine quickly. When she finished opening them we went to the pool.we stayed there for half an hour.we played with water guns and water balls.Then it was time to get out.When we got home we had cake it tasted like bananas. we sang happy birthday then we played on the trampoline for two minutes then it was time to go home we got given goody bags with cars in it my one was a formula eight car.
